Urban Survival Tools has independent sales rep positions available in all 50 states. Urban Survival Tools offers unique products that every person needs and very few have. We offer a complete line of premium quality survival kits and emergency preparedness supplies and services. Most of our products are not available in stores. Many people know that they need to prepare for disasters and other unfortunate events, but very few actually take the steps to prepare their families and households.

This combination of need and limited availability makes products are very easy to sell. Most fundraising coordinators are very eager to hear about our products and often sign up for one of our programs.

Earnings Potential for the Independent Sales Rep

Our Independent Sales Reps make 10% on the total sales of the event. For example, if you obtain an order for $10,000 worth of survival supplies and kits, your commissions will be $1,000. You will receive a 10% commission on all the direct sales and pre-sales orders you obtain and 5% on any internet/phone orders you obtain. It is quite easy for a Sales Rep to make up to $5,000 per event for the larger schools and organizations.

What is Expected of and Independent Sales Rep

All Urban Survival Tools Independent Sales Reps are Independent Contractors. That means that Sales Reps are paid a commission and are not employees of Urban Survival Tools. Independent Contractors pay their own taxes on their commissions, and they pay their own sales expenses (such as gas, auto, photocopies, etc.). We do however supply all the marketing materials such as brochures and product samples. We are looking for energetic, professional individuals with strong fundraising sales and relationship building skills. Preferred prospects should have an established network of customers but is not required. We strongly believe in the potential of each person. This position requires a self-starter who will call on fundraising coordinators at public and private schools, PTAs, PTOs, churches, school organizations such as athletic teams, bands, clubs, amateur sports teams, day care centers, and other types of non-profit organizations in need of fundraising programs.

This position can be either part time or full time depending on the amount of time the person is willing to invest.

Commission on sales will be paid by check on a monthly basis. Commissions will be paid only on the money that has been received by Urban Survival Tools from the school or other organization.
